PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that said purpose of Special Meeting will be a workshop of the Hartford Town Board to conduct the annual internal audit,
and any other business coming before the board at that time.

NOTICE OF RECEIPT OF TAX ROLL AND WARRANT
TAKE NOTICE, that I, Denise L. Petteys, the undersigned Collector of Taxes for the Town of Hartford, County of Washington, State of New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of the 2024 Town and County taxes and I will attend at the Hartford Town Clerk’s Office, 165 Hartford Main Street, Hartford, New York 12838, from
December 27, 2023 to the end of the collection period, except Sundays and holidays, normal business hours Tuesday 7:30a.m. to 5p.m., and Wednesday through Friday 7:30a.m. to 3p.m., for the purpose of receiving the taxes listed on said roll.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that taxes may be paid on or before the 31st of January without penalty or interest. On all taxes received after such date there shall be added interest of one (1) percent if paid on or before the 29th day of February and an additional two (2) percent if paid on or before the 1st day of April, after which the unpaid taxes will be returned to the County Treasurer of the County of Washington in April 2024, pursuant to the provisions of law.
The failure of the property owner to receive a tax bill shall not in any way affect the validity of the taxes, of penalties or relieve the owner of tax obligation.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that, pursuant to a resolution adopted by the Planning Board of the Town of Hartford on September 26, 2023, a public hearing will be held by said Planning Board on October 24, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at the Offices of the Town of Hartford, 165 Main Street, Hartford, New York, to discuss the application for a subdivision.
Application #23-3: The applicant Duane & Stephanie Burch has presented an application to subdivide three lots from their parcel of 111.4 acres. This property is located in East Hartford, in the Town of Hartford, Washington County, Tax Map Number 151.-1-8.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the preliminary budget of the Town of Hartford for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2024, including general town funds, highway funds, fire protection district funds, light district funds, and exemption summary has been completed and filed in the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Hartford, 165 Hartford Main Street, where it is available for inspection by any interested person during office hours.
The Town Board of the Town of Hartford shall hold a public hearing on said preliminary budget at its regular monthly meeting to be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 7:05 p.m. at the Town Hall, showing such changes, alterations and revisions as shall have been made therein by the Town Board of the Town of Hartford. At such hearing, any person may be heard in favor of or against the preliminary budget as compiled or for or against any item or items therein contained. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that, pursuant to Town Law section 184(2), a public hearing will be held at the Town Hall, Town of Hartford, New York, on the 10th day of October, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. to discuss the proposed contract between the Town and the Hartford Volunteer Fire Co., Inc. and that an opportunity to be heard in regard thereto will then and there be given to the public.
