Our Memorial Day parade is one of the most anticipated events in Hartford. Our neighbors, family and friends gather to celebrate the amazing men and women who served, and continue to serve, to protect our great nation.

Take a look around. One of the largest landmarks is our central school. The events and programs for our local kids are the responsibility of the Hartford youth commission. We all have a part in creating well rounded and compassionate young men and women.

Just a short drive down Hartford Main Street (formerly County Route 23), away from the high school, you will find the Hartford Town Hall. This is the most important hub in our town. The Town Clerk is here for residents and offers an important information center for the community.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Special Town Board Meeting will be held after the Regular Planning Board Meeting on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Hartford Town Hall, 165 Hartford Main Street, Hartford NY.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that said purpose of Special Meeting will be a Joint meeting between the Hartford Town Board and the Planning Board to discuss a draft Ordinance Regulating the Siting of Solar Arrays and any other business coming before the board at that time.

All applicants should be present at the Tuesday, June 10, 2025 Town Board meeting where interviews will be conducted at 7:05 pm. Successful applicant will be appointed on June 10, 2025.
