RESOLUTION NO. 21106
ON MOTION OF SUPERVISOR HAFF, 2ND BY COUNCILMAN HARRINGTON, THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED 5 AYES, 0 NAYS. VOTING AYE, COUNCILWOMAN BEECHER, COUNCILMAN BURCH, COUNCILMAN HARRINGTON, COUNCILWOMAN PEREZ, AND SUPERVISOR HAFF.
RESOLVED TO ENTER INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION AT 3:35 PM TO DISCUSS LITIGATION MATTERS.

ON MOTION OF SUPERVISOR HAFF, 2ND BY COUNCILWOMAN BEECHER, THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED 5 AYES, 0 NAYS. VOTING AYE, COUNCILWOMAN BEECHER, COUNCILMAN BURCH, COUNCILMAN HARRINGTON, COUNCILWOMAN PEREZ, AND SUPERVISOR HAFF.
RESOLVED TO ENTER INTO REGULAR SESSION AT 4:02 PM

PUBLIC DISCUSSION
DAVID SWEZEY, GIBBS ROAD RESIDENT, ADVISED THE BOARD THAT HE IS AWARE THAT HE SHOULD NOT HAVE BROUGHT A MOBILE HOME INTO TOWN WITHOUT HAVING IT INSPECTED. HE SAID THAT HE HAD ADVISED MARK MILLER, ENFORCEMENT OFFICER, THAT HE SOLD THE MOBILE HOME ON MAY 1, 2021 AND HE HAS A BILL OF SALE AND THE NEW OWNERS WERE SUPPOSED TO REMOVE IT ON MAY 20, 2021 BUT THEY HAD ISSUES WITH THE MOVING COMPANY AS WELL AS THE NEW DRIVEWAY SITE FOR THE MOBILE HOME. HE SAID THAT THE MOVING COMPANY HAD A DEATH IN THE FAMILY AS WELL AS THEIR SCHEDULE BEING BACKED UP, THEY HOPE TO GET TO MOVING IT THIS WEEK.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUPERVISOR TO RETAIN LEGAL COUNSEL TO COMPEL THE REMOVAL OF A MOBILE HOME LOCATED AT OR NEAR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 301 GIBBS ROAD
RESOLUTION NO. 21108
ON MOTION OF SUPERVISOR HAFF, SECOND BY COUNCILMAN BURCH, THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED 3 AYES, 0 NAYS, 2 ABSTAIN (BEECHER, HARRINGTON). VOTING AYE, COUNCILMAN BURCH, COUNCILWOMAN PEREZ AND SUPERVISOR HAFF.
WHEREAS, CHAPTER 79 OF THE TOWN CODE OF THE TOWN OF HARTFORD REGULATES MOBILE HOMES IN THE TOWN OF HARTFORD; AND
WHEREAS, IT HAS COME TO THE TOWN BOARD’S ATTENTION THAT A MOBILE HOME IS CURRENTLY LOCATED AT OR NEAR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 301 GIBBS ROAD WHICH IS IN VIOLATION OF MULTIPLE PROVISIONS OF THE HARTFORD TOWN CODE; AND

WHEREAS, THE TOWN BOARD DESIRES TO COMMENCE LEGAL ACTION TO COMPEL COMPLIANCE WITH THE TOWN CODE AND RECOVER CIVIL PENALTIES PURSUANT TO THE HARTFORD TOWN CODE.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT, RESOLVED, BY THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF HARTFORD THAT THE SUPERVISOR IS AUTHORIZED TO RETAIN LEGAL COUNSEL TO COMMENCE AND PURSUE LEGAL ACTION IN THE NAME OF THE TOWN OF HARTFORD TO COMPEL THE REMOVAL OF THE ABOVE REFERENCED TRAILER LOCATED AT OR NEAR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 301 GIBBS ROAD AND TO RECOVER APPLICABLE CIVIL PENALTIES:
