Hartford’s Veteran’s Day ceremony started at Monument Square on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month with the ringing of church bells, Boy Scout Troop 40 flag ceremony, and the Ft. Ann American Legion post prayer. The recognition of our Veterans helps to make Hartford a special place. 
This Saturday will be pretty busy in Hartford with three events;
1) Hartford Pta Vendor Fair in the school gymcafetorium 10am-4pm. 2) Haynes House of Hope – Hospice basket raffle at the Hartford Firehouse doors open 11am with winning ticket drawing starting at 1pm. 3) Methodist Church Turkey Supper eat in or take out 4pm – 630 pm.
The construction work on County Route 30 has had a delay in the completion. Washington County DPW now anticipates that the road will be reopened by Nov 18th.
